Refund and Cancellation Policy — The Thriving Project

Effective 19 September 2026.

This policy covers everything purchased from The Thriving Project, whether paid by card, by ACH bank transfer or against an invoice. The survey launch date is the date your survey is scheduled to open to respondents.

Survey and report packages

Survey Package, Basic Report Package and Expanded Report Package.

When you cancel	Your refund
Before your survey is scheduled, or 10 or more business days before its launch date	Full refund, less a 5% cancellation fee
Fewer than 10 business days before the launch date	50% refund
After data collection has started	No refund

Additional institution-specific questions and additional demographic variables follow the same terms as the survey they are added to.

Thriving Campus Package

When you cancel	Your refund
More than 10 business days before the first survey's launch date	90% refund
Within 10 business days of the first survey's launch date, or later	No refund

Webinars booked on their own

When you cancel	Your refund
30 or more days before the webinar	90% refund
15 to 29 days before	50% refund
Fewer than 15 days before	No refund

You are always welcome to reschedule a webinar instead of canceling it.

Researcher license

The $250 researcher license is non-refundable.

ACH bank payments

An ACH payment canceled while it is still clearing is refunded, less a 5% cancellation fee.

How to request a refund

Send your request in writing to [email protected]. Include your institution, your order or invoice number, and what you are canceling. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method.
