Refund and Cancellation Policy — The Thriving Project

Effective 18 September 2026.

This policy covers survey packages, report packages, add-ons, webinars and the researcher license purchased from The Thriving Project, whether paid by card, by ACH bank transfer or against an invoice.

Survey and report packages

Canceled before survey administration is scheduled: full refund, less a 5% cancellation fee.
Canceled after administration is scheduled but before data collection begins: full refund, less a 5% cancellation fee.
Canceled after data collection has started: no refund.
Additional institution-specific questions and additional demographic variables follow the policy of the survey they are added to.
For the Thriving Campus Package, these terms apply to each of its surveys separately; its webinar follows the webinar terms below.

ACH bank payments

An ACH payment canceled while it is still clearing is refunded, less a 5% cancellation fee.

Webinars

You are welcome to reschedule a webinar. If you cancel instead:

30 days or more before the scheduled date: 90% refund.
15 to 29 days before: 50% refund.
Fewer than 15 days before: no refund.

Researcher license

The $250 researcher license is non-refundable.

How to request a refund

Refund and cancellation requests must be made in writing, by email to [email protected]. Please include your institution, your order or invoice number, and what you are canceling. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method.
